Mr. D.E.W.

Labor Ready is a mission in St. Augustine, FL.
It is the home of Mr. D.E.W.
Today, I had the privilege of meeting Mr. D.E.W.
He came in riding on a bike.
The bike had three tennis balls stuck in the spokes.
"Three Words, Three Words, Three Best Words" he said as he rode in.
"1, 2, 3" "1,2,3"
"God is love" that is good, but is not the best
"God is great" also good, but that is not the best
Then with hands raised up he stopped and said, "H--E-- I--S-- R--I--S--E--N--"

He repeated this mantra over and over along with a few others.

On his hat he had his initials D.E.W.
I asked him about these letters.
He said, " D.E.W. will never WED"
"The girls I liked didn't like me and the ones that liked me the devil wouldn't take"
