Yesterday, I went fishing. =)
In the shallows, a little minnow was noticed attempting to eat a plastic worm.
The little minnow was having an awful time and never could quite swallow the little plastic worm.
Satan puts many plastic worms in our path, that counterfeit the real worm, Jesus Christ. Many plastic worms are decorated very nicely with all sorts of colors and
frills to attract the eye of a fish. Likewise, the devil's counterfeit worms are eye catchy, colorful, and appear to be very tasty.
Psa 22:6 But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

Joel and I are watching birds by a pond in Courtland, NY. And we're watching a traffic director kick rocks off the pavement. And we wish you were here to tell us what type of birds we're looking at.
Joel says: "I thought you liked birding not fishing"
Have a wonderful friday :D
oh i do like birding very very much in fact so much that i did some birding on my fishing experience and was able to add a new bird to my list, which included a brown headed nuthatch.
Well, I dont know what hatched nut bird is but I was enjoying some birds today here in Texas. I was reminded that one day, we will be able to hold out our hand and even the hatched nutted bird will land with trust. Great worm thought by the way. They too will one day roam the earth without fear of the great T-bird.
Glad you decided to write this blog :) You know, reading this made me think of our other conversations about worms and how you don't particularly care to be one. It is interesting to note that you called Jesus the real worm.
Now Thomson, :) I know that you are a very dedicated follower of Christ. It is quite amusing to me the implications that this blog could have for future caving trips ;) Perhaps now you're more inclined to be a worm?
what a close! The knife points toward me.
Just giving you a hard time Thomson :) I hope you didn't take me too seriously.
i thought it fit perfectly and that it was very whitty, funny, clever, etc.etc....=o
the knife comment reffered to the old movie "mutiny on the bounty". If the defendant was guilty the knife pointed toward him. if the defendant was innocent the knife pointed away from him. Your very insightful comments helped me to realize that worming was not such a bad idea afterall =)
Yay!!!! I like the way this conversation is going! VERY good observation friend Kristin! I am blessed to have such an astute ex-suitemate. :( awww, now I'm sad :( I'm going to miss bugging you next year. What will I do?
ok, one more thing. I really don't like how the incorrect time is posted after each comment. So from here on out, I'm going to try and remember to write the correct time on my comments.

Thomson: Thanks for clarifying the knife comment :) It makes a lot more sense now.... Before, it kind of worried me.
Christy: You can still bug me :) You'll just have to walk a little further to do so ;)
Wow! such interesting conversations. It's kind of fun to read them! Christy, are there any caves in New York? Near the camp!
Brian: Joel and I have been trying to figure that out. Apparently there are some caves in the Adirondacks cuz Lorrie went to one last year, but we haven't found out much. We found a grotto but it's out of session for the summer cuz it's associated w/ a university. We'll have to go caving this summer! :)
haha, sir thomson of paris, i just noticed the "Lady Caitlin of Meharry". 'tis amusing.
Well, Caitlin of Meharry just doesn't work quite as well, because Paris is really a place - but anyway...
hehe, that hatched nut bird, made me laugh!!!
I'm in the library right now... and it is the first time that I've been in a library where they play country music / radio... that's Manchester for ya :)
i found a place =) mount meharry;)
Thomson, just a random question for you--Did you decide that writing another blog would be a good motivational activity for AFTER the upcoming inquiring of all things feline?
